Ground-breaking Qatar Self Sufficiency Exhibition 2018 will enhance country’s drive for diversified national economy
Inspired by Qatar’s visionary leadership, inaugural expo provides perfect platform for more than 120 local and international exhibitors to showcase latest manufacturing and production solutions to boost Qatar’s self-sufficiency goal
Doha, Qatar – 20 November 2017: The ground-breaking Qatar Self Sufficiency Exhibition 2018, a first-of-its-kind event, will serve as an interface into how the country is building for a courageous and stimulating future with an innovative and diversified national economy through the bold and visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
Due to the positive response and the interest of many companies to take part in this exhibition, the dates of the exhibition have changed to 1 – 3 April, 2018, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), and the exhibition area increased to 10,000 sqm2 subject to expansion.
The inaugural Qatar Self Sufficiency Exhibition will present industry leaders, production line manufacturers, and decision makers with the perfect platform to demonstrate how they are contributing to shaping the country’s dynamic future.
The innovative industry event will attract more than 120 leading local, regional and international production line manufacturers from more than 10 countries that serve a whole gambit of sectors, including the food industry, healthcare, agriculture, heavy industry, manufacturers of raw materials such as wood and plastic, as well as environmental issues such as recycling and sustainably.
Exhibitors that serve the manufacturing sector; logistics and shipping; and financial sector entities, specifically those financing projects, will also be present at the show.
In addition to attracting established industry players, the exhibition will host foreign investors and entities eager to get a foothold in the Qatari market and contribute to the rapidly-evolving economic landscape and the bold future direction of the country.
